You don’t want to miss this story! Have you ever experience this in your lifetime?
We were watching a movie around 7:30pm and all of a sudden we heard a big CRASHED sound on our window. So I thought, it was one of the big branch of trees fell and hit the window. When I looked, I saw a huge bald eagle lying on the bush.
The bald eagle hit the window! We all went out and try to see if it was alright. It looked pretty stunned and hurt. It slowly fell from the bush as it’s weight got heavier. We had to be careful not to touch it as it does not let you go if it grabs you by its claws. We called wildlife emergency and reservation. At first they told us to leave it for 3 hours and carefully moved it where other birds can’t hurt it and monitor its progress coz they said that sometimes it pretends that it’s hurts or something. By 10:30 it still has not moved. Everytime it tries to get up, it stumbled and fall.
So the wildlife reservation said to put it in a box and wrapped with warm towel to keep it warm for the night and take it to the reservation at 9am the next morning. I had to go to work so my family friend took them over.
I got a text from my friend later the afternoon and the report from them said “no broken bones, a slight concussion and should be up in the air in a week or two. They have to give it some kind of meds to help the brain trauma.
Good ending I must say. Don’t you? Another precious story in my memory bank.
