Today, on the National Day for Truth and Reconciliation, we pause to recognize the history, culture and enduring presence of the Peskotomuhkati Nation.

The community we know today as St. Andrews is located in Qonasqamkuk, a place that has long held significance for the Peskotomuhkati people and served as a gathering place for councils of the Nation.

The Peskotomuhkati people have lived on and cared for these lands and waters for generations, following a seasonal way of life deeply connected to the rivers, forests and Passamaquoddy Bay.

As a business in St. Andrews, we believe reconciliation begins with taking the time to learn the history of the place we call home, listen to Indigenous voices, and recognize the people and communities who have been here since long before the town we know today was established.

Today, we remember, we listen, and we continue learning.

We’re excited to officially welcome Krysten Gibson to the Impact Wealth team! 🎉

Krysten joined us in May and has quickly become a valuable addition to our growing team.

A big focus of Krysten’s role is supporting Chambers Plan and employee benefit solutions for business owners throughout the communities we serve.

Through Chambers Plan, Krysten will be working alongside our Chamber partners to connect with local businesses, help business owners better understand the benefits available to them and their employees, and support our existing Chambers Plan clients.

She’ll also work with businesses looking for broader employee benefit solutions, helping employers navigate their options and find coverage that makes sense for their business, their budget, and their people.

Krysten has jumped right in — getting involved in our local business communities, building new relationships, and learning the insurance and benefits world with lots of energy and enthusiasm.

We’re excited to have Krysten on the team and look forward to seeing her continue to build relationships with business owners and Chamber partners throughout our communities.

Our impact extends beyond wealth.

As a member of , Impact Wealth commits at least 1% of our annual revenue to environmental organizations doing meaningful work.

Close to home, that includes supporting the Campobello Whale Rescue Team through (MARS) and their work protecting whales in the Bay of Fundy.

We’re proud to support the people doing this important work here in the Bay of Fundy to protect these amazing animals.
