🍷 Back to School – Adult Edition ✈️🌎

In honour of World Tourism Day last Friday, our W**e Club members travelled the world — one sip at a time.

Ron John Giesbrecht took members on a journey through Wending Home w**es alongside w**es from around the world, discovering how each glass tells a story of place, character and craftsmanship.

Mark from cheesetango added another layer to the adventure, guiding members through the delicious art of how cheese can complement and enhance w**e. 🧀🍷

Set beneath the vineyard tent with our beautiful vines as the backdrop, members were also treated to Ying’s seasonal-inspired cooking, celebrating the Chinese Mid-Autumn Moon Festival and the spirit of harvest, gathering and togetherness. 🌕🥢

A beautiful evening of w**e, food, discovery and community — right here at Wending Home. Because no matter where you travel, w**e brings you back home. 🍷❤️

A HUGE THANK YOU to all who visited Wending Home this past weekend for the Niagara Grape & W**e Festival Discovery Pass 🙌 and also a special shoutout to Barry Maybee for the spectacular Texas Twinkies - which were so popular we ran out Saturday! Maybees were rockstars and made us some more for Sunday, and we needed them!

Another shout out to Rob Maurin’s music for providing the tunes on Sunday, and the Niagara SPCA & Humane Society for visiting us with King, who made instant friends with many of you!

We made a lot of new friends and expanded our Wending Home family this past weekend, and we can’t wait to see you all again soon!

Tomorrow is the start of the last weekend for the Niagara Grape & W**e Festival Discovery Pass! A huge shoutout to all of you who made Wending Home a stop over the previous two weekends. We met a lot of new faces, made new friends, and I think everyone was thoroughly impressed with the Texas Twinkies pairing from Barry Maybee 🌶️

This weekend we’ll have a special guest from the Niagara SPCA & Humane Society! This fella is going to be tugging at your heartstrings to enter into our Humane Society fundraiser - where a donation automatically enters you into a draw to w**e 2 tickets to see SLOAN on September 24, and Wending Home tasting and store vouchers!

Wending Home is once again participating in the Niagara Grape & W**e Festival Discovery Pass weekends this fall!

Wending Home is teaming up with Barry Maybee for our special pairing: RIESLING: SMOKE & SPICE

These legendary Texas Twinkies feature gently warmed jalapeños stuffed with smoked brisket and cream cheese, wrapped in bacon, slow-smoked, glazed with barbecue sauce, and finished with Maybee’s signature Alabama white sauce. W**emaker Ron Giesbrecht pairs this smoky, savoury favourite with our Wending Home Small Batch Riesling, whose subtle sweetness perfectly complements the Twinkie’s gentle heat.
