New Exhibition at 13th Street Gallery | From Water to Sky

We’re pleased to welcome Canadian artist Lynn Cecil to 13th Street Gallery for From Water to Sky, opening August 29.

Working almost exclusively in alcohol inks on canvas, Lynn creates immersive, fluid works inspired by experiences ranging from oceans and coral reefs to cloudscapes, deep space and wooded shores. Having lived in St. Catharines for five years, Lynn also feels a special connection to the Niagara region.

Your August Taste of 13th Street shipment has arrived!

This month, we’re pouring two wines made for savouring the season: Pinot Gris 2025 and Pinot Noir 2024.

PINOT GRIS 2025 — Fresh and fruity with aromas of bright citrus, fresh pineapple, Asian pear and light spices, followed by flavours of fresh stone fruit, peach, yellow pear, candied ginger and a long, refreshing finish.

PINOT NOIR 2024 — Inviting aromas of ripe cherry, cherry pit and wild raspberry, layered with soft notes of violet and spice. On the palate, bright red fruit flavours are complemented by hints of strawberry, milk chocolate and warm spice.

And because great wine deserves great food, we’re pairing the Pinot Gris with Lake Perch Butter Bean Carbonara—a delicious recipe to enjoy alongside your August wines.

A new exhibition is coming to the 13th Street Gallery, featuring the vibrant work of contemporary artist Angela Bontempo.

Opening August 15 | Meet the Artist, 1–4 p.m.

Through vivid colour, rich texture and expressive depth, Angela’s work explores the connection between colour, texture and emotion, inviting us to slow down, connect with the immediacy of feeling and experience the beauty of the present moment.
