The MET in a nutshell.

One thing about me, I love museums. We on had less than two hours and we only got to explore 1/4 of this place.

We went from American Art, to old Egyptian ruins, to Asian Art and traditional home with traditional furniture. This is not just a day trip, it’s multiple days, understanding each piece and really learning about the history of the art. I love art and artifacts. I will definitely need to come back and if you are a New York City resident, I envy the fact that you get in for free. I would take advantage of this and will be at The MET everyday if I could.

We finally made it to New York! It was a long over due since this the first year in 2 years I m not pregnant or just had a baby. Lol.

We went to the MET and I was overwhelmed by how much there was to see. We only explored a quarter of the place and it was definitely an incentive to come back! Thank you to my cousin who hooked us up!

My kids enjoyed being in a hotel for the first time and we loved the area we were in. The hotel was near shops, grocery stores and food.

We won’t be waiting 3 years to come, more like weeks or months.

We love NYC.

Interior design doesn’t have to cost you an arm and leg. I get we are a luxury service but I’d like to think that I can afford myself if I couldn’t already pull a room together.

If you are that type of person that can’t envision a space, why not hire a designer to help? I personally dont necessarily shop at the most expensive places. I’m very thrifty and I only purchase items that I can afford for now and child proof. I m diligently on Facebook market place and thrifting. Since my kids are still so young, I make sure I buy pieces that will last their young phase and also not break the bank.

I’ve been living with IKEA Canada furniture for a while and my current Kivik Sofa has lasted me 3 kids. There have been many times I’ve been tempted to buy a brand new custom sofa, but I change my mind so often that I’m settling to just buying slip covers until I know what I want.

Here’s a look of how I’ve helped a client achieve her overall look but still stay within a reasonable budget.

Creating a home doesn’t have to feel out of reach, as long as you know where to go and who to call!

Pop of colour and how many more ways can we look at this living room?

Built for a client who needed help furnishing her home. She wanted timeless with a bit of a flare.

We loved every bit of this project because she was the best and she gave us full reign to explore our creativity.

Here’s a reel of me getting out of my comfort zone and also talking about something I like to do on weekends.

My mom and I love to thrift, whether it’s for furniture or clothes, it’s something we love to bond over. We’ve been doing this for quite some time and honestly I’m very into sustainability where I can contribute.

Hope you enjoy it as much as I tried my best to show a side of me that IG doesn’t really see.

(Also please excuse my house and my look. I felt inspired lol)

Took my mini me to source some hardwood. Then we stopped and grabbed some Krispy Kreme.

I’ve always tried to bring my kids with me where I can. It’s sometimes chaotic but we have a good time.

There was a lot of behind the scenes that went on to achieve this space. From sourcing, coordinating, assembling and installing. This condo came to life and is ready to be lived in.
