The City of Saint John is saddened by the passing of former Mayor Ivan Court, who served from 2008 to 2012.

In recognition of his service and dedication, flags at municipal buildings are lowered to half-mast.

A lifelong Saint Johner, educator, and public servant, Mayor Court served 14 years on Common Council, including four as Mayor. His passion for Saint John and commitment to the community leave a lasting legacy.

We extend our sincere condolences to his family, friends, and all who were touched by his leadership.
