Adventum - Catholic Services is part of Adventum Philanthropic Marketing, a firm dedicated to making advanced marketing communications strategies, including fundraising, accessible to small nonprofit organizations. More specifically, Adventum - Catholic Services employs Integrated Catholic Communications™, a suite of six promotional tools, to reach out and evangelize to self-identified Catholics,

whether they are active within the faith, or have drifted away. Our inspiration is the biblical story of Zacchaeus (Luke 19:1-10), the tax collector who climbed a sycamore tree to see Jesus over the heads of the people in the crowd. Jesus called him down, saying "Zacchaeus, come down quickly, for today I must stay at your house.” Converted to faith by Jesus's words, Zaccheus gave away half his possessions to the poor, and reimbursed the people from whom he had extorted money four times the amounts he had taken from them. In this story, Jesus doesn't wait for Zacchaeus to come to him; Jesus reaches out to Zaccheus, and joins the tax collector in his own home. That is the essence of what is made possible by social media technologies in our day. We have the opportunity to reach out to people like Zacchaeus where they live. In fact, we have to do this, because we know that at least 80% of self-identified Catholics are not regularly coming to our churches!
