Hi everyone
This is a tough post to make, but after 4+ years of serving the community, I'm in the process of winding down Duncan Helps. I've been offered an exciting opportunity in another industry, and for the sake of my health and my family, it's an opportunity I must take.
I want to thank all of you for your incredible support!
We've served hundreds of different customers in these years, many of you multiple times, and I am beyond grateful. I started this business in the heart of Covid, with the hope that I could simply feed my kids and pay my rent in a time when nobody was hiring, and this business became so much more than I ever imagined. The support of the Sarnia-Lambton community has been constant. It's an absolute joy doing business here.
I'm tremendously proud of having been "Duncan Helps", and I'm proud of the legacy we've left in the community. We strove for excellence in every job and in every interaction, and I believe we mostly came through.
If you already have a job on the go, or a contract that has been agreed upon - don't worry - it will be completed over these next couple of weeks. My incredible staff have all agreed to carry on until we've fulfilled our obligations.
For future work, if you've hired us in the last 15 months, you've met some absolutely fantastic people - Mike, Renee, Peter, Courtney, Ceana and Joel. I'm deeply grateful to them all.
Several of them will be continuing to offer the same services Duncan Helps did in individual roles, and you can count on them to always meet the high standards we insisted upon.
For future inquiries, you can reach out to Renee’s Renovations and you can always send me a message if you're looking for any of my employees to complete work for you, and I'll put you in touch.
I've shed more than a few tears over this decision. It's tough to walk away from something I've worked so incredibly hard to build, but it's time.
Thank you all
Duncan
