Every business starts with an idea, but turning that idea into something sustainable often requires the right support, guidance, and confidence to take the next step.

The Starter Company Plus program is designed to support entrepreneurs in who are ready to take the next step in their business journey. Selected participants can receive up to $5,000 in grant funding, personalized coaching and mentorship, and access to local business expertise and resources.

For many entrepreneurs, having the right guidance and community can make a significant difference in building confidence, navigating challenges, and creating momentum for long-term growth.

Join us on Tuesday, June 23, for the Sarnia-Lambton Economic Partnership’s Annual General Meeting, taking place from 8:00 a.m. to 9:30 a.m. at Sawmill Creek Golf Course, located at 3790 Lakeshore Rd, Camlachie, ON.

Open to the public, registration is required by Tuesday, June 16, 2026. Breakfast will be provided.

This year’s AGM is highlighted by a keynote presentation from the Honourable Sam Oosterhoff, Associate Minister of Energy-Intensive Industries. He will share his perspectives on Ontario’s evolving energy portfolio, with a particular focus on his leadership in advancing the province’s hydrogen economy. His insights will be especially valuable as Sarnia-Lambton continues to position itself as a critical region for the long-term energy security of both Ontario and Canada. The AGM will also feature Starter Company Plus grant recipients, highlighting the impact of entrepreneurship and small business growth across Sarnia-Lambton.
