We want to give a shoutout to Making Memories for donating this incredible framed print of our apparatus to display at Camlachie Station!

We recently worked with Jules on a project and were blown away with her photography skills, and didn’t expect this added gesture. Thank you!

Last night, our members were at Reeces Corners taking part in pump operation training. Last night focused on training evolutions using Ladder 3 as an elevated master stream.

During the training, firefighters practiced establishing water supply from a hydrant, operating the pumper, and delivering large volumes of water through an elevated stream. These skills are critical during major incidents, such as large structure fires, commercial buildings, or defensive firefighting operations.

And yes… we were spoiled with the weather! ☀️

On Saturday, we had the privilege of celebrating Camlachie Station Chief Scott Jordan’s 47 years of dedicated service to the fire service and our community.

For nearly five decades, Chief Jordan has answered the call and responded when his community needed him most. From the Camlachie Fire Department through to the amalgamation of the Town of Plympton-Wyoming Fire Department, his leadership and impact will have a lasting impression.

The celebration on Saturday brought together family, friends, current and former firefighters, and community members.

Thank you, Chief Jordan, for 47 years of commitment and thousands of calls for service answered. Your legacy will continue to be felt throughout our department and community for many years to come.

Please join us in congratulating Chief Jordan on his retirement and wishing him all the very best in this next chapter.

Our members had a blast at yesterday’s Errol Village Public School Carnival event! We had a lot of fun hanging out with students and families, and slinging some burgers and hot dogs - thanks for having us out!

Last night, Camlachie Station firefighters were at the Reeces Corner plaza for more pump operations training. The evolutions focused on pumping water from our porta tanks and shuttling water with the tankers.

This evolution simulates how we would fight a fire in areas of our community without access to a fire hydrant.

Always training, always ready!
