When FSIN Chief Bobby Cameron is not fighting 🔥 for Inherent and Treaty rights for First Nations across Saskatchewan or spending time with his beautiful family… he is out on the land hunting elk or moose!

So, Turko & Associates surprised Regional Chief Cameron with these 2 acrylic paintings of him hunting as a Christmas gift 🎄(painted by our ridiculously talented in-house visual artist )!

We wish a Happy Holidays and a wonderful 2022 to the leadership and staff at the Federation of Sovereign Indigenous Nations! 🔥

And a special thanks to Chief Cameron for teaching me that exercising the Treaty right to hunt helps uphold Treaty 🙏

Hiy hiy Irene Morin for giving Turko & Associates the opportunity to sponsor 5 Enoch elders to attend the Aboriginal Youth Role Model fundraiser last night at the River Cree Venue.

It was also a pleasure for Jordan Turko to come, listen to some tunes, eat some delicious bannock and stew, and meet so many inspiring folks!

What a great night and a great cause for us to support! 🙏❤️

“Holy smokes” was National Chief Perry Bellegarde’s first reaction to our painting “Closing The Gap” that the Assembly of First Nations commissioned us to produce as a surprise retirement gift for National Chief .

This piece captures his enormous legacy of strong leadership: securing more than $27b in new funding for First Nations, the adoption of UNDRIP in Canada, and the royal acclimation of bills on Indigenous languages and child and family services, among so much more.

“Closing The Gap” was painted in 8 weeks by our brilliant visual artist , who helps bring our clients’ visions into existence by expressing human condition, emotion, history, and the future through surrealism, symbolism, and timeless archetypes. The transformative portrait, with actual historical moments represented in the mosaic, now proudly hangs in Perry’s home.

Thank you and James Baxter for trusting us to paint the legacy of a man that I know means so much to you both. It was truly an honour and pleasure to collaborate with you.

gave Chief Greg Desjarlais this painting today depicting him with a bison as a gift to show our appreciation for his friendship and him trusting us to work with Frog Lake First Nation. Our talented visual artist painted this piece and is seen here giving it to Chief.

Our client Chief Billy Morin’s press release on the confrontation yesterday between Enoch Cree Nation and the GraceLife protestors who trespassed and parked on sovereign Enoch land and vandalized Chief Morin’s vehicle.

The RCMP also arrested one GraceLife trespasser for allegedly attempting to assault an Enoch Councillor.

“Although I respect GraceLife protestors’ right to protest, right to worship, and right to free speech, I strongly condemn their illegal trespassing on our land, their vandalization of a Nation member’s vehicle, and their blatant disrespect of our sovereignty as a proud First Nation.” - Chief Billy Morin, Enoch Cree Nation
