🌩️ Solar has a hail problem.
As utility-scale solar has expanded into the Midwest and South, hail has become a much bigger consideration for project owners, insurers and engineers.
It’s also a reminder that module performance isn’t just about efficiency, it’s about durability too.
At Heliene, we’ve been working on hail resilience for more than a decade, including extensive destructive testing, collaboration with Sandia National Labs, and the use of 4.0mm front glass across our modules.
We continue to put durability to the test because what happens to a module after it leaves the factory matters just as much as how it performs on day one.☀️
