It’s a bi-weekly meet-up for local business owners right here in Sault Ste. Marie. It let's you carve time outside of your business and get real, hands-on support with your marketing and strategy.

With the power of automation comes responsibility. Let's talk about how to use it ethically.

Let's address the elephant in the room—the often-contentious relationship between personalization, privacy, and email marketing. It's a delicate balance, and unfortunately, many businesses have gotten it wrong. The result? A barrage of irrelevant, intrusive emails that clog our inboxes and leave a bad taste in our mouths.

It's time for a change. We need to move away from the "spray and pray" approach and towards a more ethical and respectful way of communicating with our customers. This means being transparent about how we collect and use their data, providing them with control over their privacy settings, and avoiding spammy tactics at all costs. Personalization is powerful, but it should never come at the expense of privacy or trust.

Today's customers want more than just a transaction; they want to belong to a brand's community.

Fostering a sense of community around your brand can provide numerous benefits, including increased loyalty, advocacy, and word-of-mouth marketing. When customers feel connected to a brand and its community, they are more likely to make repeat purchases, refer your business to others, and leave positive reviews.

I have seen the power of community firsthand through my retail and e-commerce brand, Moonbeam Healing. We put a big focus on connecting with our audience and creating a sense of community. We do this through events, both online and in person, getting continuous feedback, having a robust loyalty program, and listening to customer feedback and replying to any testimonials that people leave.

By fostering a sense of community around your brand, you can create a more loyal and engaged customer base. This can lead to increased sales, profits, and long-term success.

Working with the team at FocalPoint Coaching was so much fun. We helped them in creating a webinar funnel for the Eat That Frog workshop with author Brian Tracy.

This included a custom built affiliate program to track their coaches traffic and referrals in order to invite attendees to schedule a strategy call after the workshop was complete.
