We are trying to compile a list of side roads that GFL may not or are not going down for recycling pickup. Heyden and Goulais River only please. If you know or think you are on one of these roads, please pm me with your road name and how many are on that road. Hoping to send a message about how many side roads we have that are not getting service for recycling.

Just so everyone knows, we did not give GFL our customer list for addresses. That is private and we would never do that. GFL told someone this to explain why they didn't get a bin. So unprofessional. As for the dump not taking their recycling, we have been trying to get an answer from GFL and nothing is coming yet. Please hold on to your recycling if you can. We do not want to fill up our dump because they can't get organized. As soon as this changes we will let you know.

GFL is taking over the contract for Recycling in our areas as of Jan. 1, 2026. ( Other than Batchewana Reserves) You will have to call them at 705-945-7554 to find out more info on this as we are being told nothing. Bins are being delivered to address's in Goulais River and surrounding areas with no information. I'm really sorry we can not help more. We just are not getting answers either. As for the garbage, that has not changed and we are still doing on our regular schedule ( other than our Christmas break which I have sent out emails and mail outs about). This is separate from the recycling. Our prices are staying the same for now and hopefully will not go up in the new year. I'm really sorry that the recycling is so messed up right now. Unfortunately we are not being involved to help with this new transition. Hopefully we will get some answers soon. And our phones hopefully will be up running again soon as Bell is working on the lines. Big job I'm told. Email me at [email protected] if you need us.

We are helping with Christmas Cheer again this year and they are sending out a plea for some toys that they are low on. Board games, Barbies and dolls, toys for toddlers (1-2 years old), remote control cars, and super heroes. You can also drop off toys and donations at our shop at 46 Mahler Road, Goulais River. Don't forget Toy Stock is on Nov. 30 2025 at The Grand Gardens North. Starting at 12 pm.
