A Healthy Urban Forest is a Vital Part of Your Community
Established in 1996, in Sault. Ste. Marie, Ontario, Canada; BioForest specializes in innovative product development, and consulting strategies for urban and commercial forest protection. In 2015, we became a subsidiary of Lallemand Plant Care to oversee and develop its Forestry division.
Currently present in Southern Ontario; Quebec; Michigan; Missouri; Massachusetts; and Finland; BioForest use a science based approach to uphold our commitment of saving trees from invasive pests and disease while having minimal impact on the surrounding environment.
It’s unquestionable that urban trees provide numerous social, economic, and environmental benefits to a community. In an urban environment, trees deal with an incredible amount of stress which can compromise their health and overall value. Having a strong forest health program helps detect changes in a community’s urban canopy and allows for proactive management.
BioForest’s team of qualified experts, including ISA certified arborists, ISA Qualified Tree Risk Assessors, Registered Professional Foresters, ecologists, botanists, and biologists, collect and analyze field data and provide recommendations to support the growth and sustainability of the urban forest.
