Skeetchestn Indian Band The Skeetchestn Indian Band is a member of the Secwepemc (Shuswap) Nation, located 60 kilometers west of the city of Kamloops.

The Skeetchestn Community is vibrant and free spirited! The reserve landscaping is stunning, peaceful and host a variety of medicinal plants, wild animals and colorful birds! Many Skeetchestn band and community members are involved the rodeos, pow wows, fishing camps, and other social and sporting events. Skeetchestn hosts healing gatherings and living skills workshops as well. The large attendance at these events attest to the organizational skills and dedication of the community. Both social and spiritual well being is promoted by such gatherings.
