Remembering the late Richard Steven Valenzuela, ”Ritchie Valens”,
May 13, 1941 - Feb. 3, 1959
Ritchie’s career took off first in July 1958 with ”Come On Let’s Go”, and in February 1959 Ritchie had a total of 5 songs which had been on the charts, for example ”Donna” which was his highest charting single reaching #2.
After Ritchie had passed, Bob Keane released an album with Ritchie’s demos but also some unfinished songs which could’ve been some of his next hits.
