When Danine Lyle first came across a small spray foam business for sale on the CBDC Business Atlantic website, she wasn’t necessarily looking to become an insulation contractor. She was thinking about a way to keep her husband working closer to home.

How often do you review your numbers?
Running a business without looking at your numbers is a bit like driving with your eyes closed.

You don't need to be an accountant, but understanding your sales, expenses, cash flow, and profitability helps you make better business decisions.
Set aside time each month to review your numbers and ask yourself:
• What's improving?
• What's costing more?
• Where are the opportunities?

Knowing your numbers gives you confidence to plan for the future instead of simply reacting.
