Did ya hear the news?!? 😊🙌🏻🎉🥳
Proud to have the opportunity to provide waste disposal services for the Town of Shellbrook residents!

First and foremost, we want to say thank you to Hume Merasty for joining us from Little Red River Reserve. Hume led our morning in an opening prayer, a description of the importance of Truth and Reconciliation and what the Orange shirt means, and then sang and drummed an honor song and a song that had very special meaning to him.

We also want to send out a HUGE thank you to this year's sponsors for our 4th Annual Truth and Reconciliation Walk. This year, we jumped at the opportunity to host a community barbecue following our walk, and thanks to the incredible support of our sponsors and community, it was a huge success.

Thank you to our community sponsors who made this day a wild success!!

We are deeply saddened to hear of the sudden passing of our past team member and beloved friend, Rod Gjerde.

Rod had a smile that could light up a room, and a laugh that was truly infectious. His voice was growly and yet soothing, and we loved listening to him not only when he sang, but also when he shared his stories and tales of the past.

Rod was such a joy to have around. Whether he was cracking jokes, bugging Kelsey, or simply keeping the atmosphere light around the office, he had a way of making people smile.

We especially loved hearing him speak so fondly of Carol, his children, and his grandchildren. It was clear how much his family meant to him.

Rod will be deeply missed, and we feel fortunate to have known him and shared so many memories with him.

Our heartfelt condolences go out to Carol, his family, and all those who loved him. ❤️
