What are three words that describe how youโ€™re feeling right now?

This might seem simple.

But learning to pause and honestly identify whatโ€™s happening inside us is a skill.

And like any skill, it can be practiced.

For me, this isnโ€™t about always saying the โ€œrightโ€ thing.

Itโ€™s about creating enough space that Iโ€™m less likely to say the wrong thing from a reactive place.

To pause before the old pattern grabs the microphone.

To notice whatโ€™s happening inside before I hand it the steering wheel.

And to respond in a way that can be of service โ€” to me, to the person in front of me, and to the greater good of the moment.

That phrase landed for me this morning.

We can spend so much time looking for the big breakthrough.

The moment everything finally clicks.

The day we suddenly become the calm, grounded, disciplined, connected, values-led version of ourselves weโ€™ve been trying to move toward.

But most of the time, life is built much smaller than that.

One practice.

One pause.

One honest conversation.

One meeting.

One walk.

One boundary.

๐Ž๐ง๐ž ๐ฆ๐จ๐ฆ๐ž๐ง๐ญ ๐ฐ๐ก๐ž๐ซ๐ž ๐ฐ๐ž ๐ง๐จ๐ญ๐ข๐œ๐ž ๐ญ๐ก๐ž ๐จ๐ฅ๐ ๐ฉ๐š๐ญ๐ญ๐ž๐ซ๐ง ๐ฉ๐ฎ๐ฅ๐ฅ๐ข๐ง๐  ๐š๐ญ ๐จ๐ฎ๐ซ ๐ฌ๐ฅ๐ž๐ž๐ฏ๐ž ๐š๐ง๐ ๐œ๐ก๐จ๐จ๐ฌ๐ž, ๐ž๐ฏ๐ž๐ง ๐ข๐ฆ๐ฉ๐ž๐ซ๐Ÿ๐ž๐œ๐ญ๐ฅ๐ฒ, ๐ญ๐จ ๐ซ๐ž๐ญ๐ฎ๐ซ๐ง ๐ญ๐จ ๐ฐ๐ก๐š๐ญ ๐ฆ๐š๐ญ๐ญ๐ž๐ซ๐ฌ.

That doesnโ€™t mean we failed.

It means weโ€™re learning where the work wants our attention next.

So maybe today is a good day to ๐ก๐จ๐ง๐จ๐ฎ๐ซ ๐ญ๐ก๐ž ๐›๐ซ๐ข๐œ๐ค๐ฌ ๐ฒ๐จ๐ฎโ€™๐ฏ๐ž ๐š๐ฅ๐ซ๐ž๐š๐๐ฒ ๐›๐ž๐ž๐ง ๐ฉ๐ฅ๐š๐œ๐ข๐ง๐ .

The quiet effort no one else sees.

The small choices that are slowly shaping who you are becoming.

The times you came back after drifting.

The times you noticed sooner than you used to.

The times you didnโ€™t do it perfectly, but you stayed in the process.

And then, from that place, maybe ask:

Not the whole wall.

Not the entire house.

Just the next brick.

The next small practice.

The next thing that helps you live a little more from what matters most.
