🔧 WE’RE HIRING, but for a different position this time — Farm Equipment Technician

Are you a technical person, enjoy troubleshooting, and don't mind getting a little dirty?

Sheehy Enterprises is looking for an Farm Equipment Technician to join our team in Shubenacadie, NS.

This is a hands-on position that includes working on:

🐄 GEA manure equipment, servicing and installing
🔧 Installing cattle mats, stabling, ventilation systems, and more
👨‍🏭 Custom fabrication of gates or whatever a farmer may need

What we’re looking for:
• Someone hardworking, dependable and willing to learn
• Mechanical aptitude and a “jack-of-all-trades” mindset
• Interest or experience in mechanical, welding, agricultural, or technical work
• Strong troubleshooting and problem-solving skills
• Valid driver’s licence
• Previous agricultural/farm experience is an asset — but not required

What we offer:
- Starting at $24/hour, or more depending on experience
- Group benefits plan including dental, vision care, extended health benefits
- All tools provided

🔧 WE’RE HIRING — Electrical Apprentice / Farm Equipment Technician

Are you a technical person, enjoy troubleshooting, and want a career that’s more interesting than a typical electrical job?

Sheehy Enterprises is looking for an entry-level Electrical Apprentice / Farm Equipment Technician to join our team in Shubenacadie, NS.

This is a hands-on position that includes working on:

🐄 GEA milking systems, servicing both robotic and conventional farms
⚡ Electrical installations & service work
🔧 Other farm equipment, control systems, ventilation, and more

What we’re looking for:
• Someone hardworking, dependable and willing to learn
• Mechanical aptitude and a “jack-of-all-trades” mindset
• Interest or experience in electrical, mechanical, agricultural or technical work
• Strong troubleshooting and problem-solving skills
• Valid driver’s licence
• Previous agricultural/farm experience is an asset — but not required

What we offer:
- Starting at $24/hour, or more depending on experience
- Group benefits plan including dental, vision care, extended health benefits
- All tools provided
- Work phone

This is a full-time, permanent position with opportunities to learn specialized skills in electrical systems, agricultural equipment and automated milking technology. The person hired will be working directly under a red seal construction electrician on both electrical installations, milking system installations, service calls on various farm equipment, and more. Once fully trained to independently work on farming equipment, a work vehicle will be provided.
