According to a survey conducted by Scotiabank in Fall 2025, some investors using AI tools view it as complementary to the information and guidance from their primary financial advisor (30%), but the majority (62%) trust their financial advisor more than AI-generated advice. Still, the Investor Sentiment Survey found usage varies by demographics. For example, male investors were more likely to have consulted AI tools about finances and investments in the past year and those aged 45+ were less likely.
