A word to homeowners, landlords, and people looking to sell.

Right now, if you qualify, getting a fiber drop run all the way to your home is free. No contract or hidden fees. Fill out the form and get on the list while it's still free, because that won't last.

Quick clarification: While the drop is free for now, the install (hooking it up inside your home) and service are separate costs. But if the free drop window closes before you're on the list, you will have to pay for the construction to bring fiber to your house, and that bill can run into the thousands. This is especially true in rural locations where properties are larger, and the fiber lengths are long.

If you own a home in our service area and haven't filled out the form yet, we strongly suggest you do so. It only takes a couple of minutes; it's free, and there's no obligation or contract. Fiber is the future-proof, state-of-the-art internet connection, and putting it off will relegate you to substandard internet service or a costly install bill later. Adding the option for fiber is free today, and without obligation, so why not get it done now and keep your options open for the future?

If you're looking to sell your property, take note too. A home ready for fiber Internet service sells easier and holds value better, vs one where the buyer has a multi-thousand-dollar construction bill waiting for them. If you're considering listing in our area, sign up (or get your clients to) now while it's still free.

We've already seen homeowners elsewhere miss this opportunity and get quoted $4000+ to catch up. We'd rather tell you now than have you find out later.

📍 Attention Canyon Creek, Widewater, and Bayer Road residents!

End of construction season will sneak up on you soon, and that means our window for free fiber internet drop requests and installs is getting smaller and smaller.

Once the snow flies and the ground freezes, our construction partners won't be able to dig, so this is your fair warning to get on the list before construction and drop costs are no longer covered.

Fiber internet means fast, stable service that holds up through storms and winter weather, smooth video calls without the freezing or buffering, and plenty of capacity for streaming, work, and everything in between.

As a family-owned local company since 1976, we're proud to bring that kind of connection right to your door.

Filling out the request form only takes a couple of minutes and reserves your spot in line.

Behind every successful community team is a network of businesses that believe in giving back. We’re incredibly thankful for the companies that have stepped up to help bring Junior B hockey back to our town.

Today, we’d like to recognize Slave Lake Communications for their outstanding support of our organization and becoming a major sponsor!

For 50 years, this family-owned business has been keeping people connected across Northern Alberta. Built on three generations of telecommunications experience, they’ve earned a reputation for quality service by staying true to one simple philosophy—putting their customers first. Whether it’s fibre and wireless internet, cellular booster installations, fleet services, infrastructure, towers, or rental equipment, their commitment to excellence is evident in everything they do.
We’re especially proud that the business is operated by another Wolves alumnus, making this partnership even more meaningful. Seeing former players continue to invest in the future of hockey in Slave Lake speaks volumes about the lasting impact this organization has on our community and will continue to with all of the sponsors making it possible.

Thank you to everyone at Slave Lake Communications for believing in our vision and helping write the next chapter of Wolves hockey. Congratulations on 50 years of business! Your support is making a lasting difference, and we’re proud to have you on our team.
Thank you for supporting the Pack! 🐺
