Founded in 1824 by Captain Duncan Milloy, a sailor from Oban, Scotland, the Oban Inn began as a private residence known as Oban House. In 1895, Captain Milloy’s son, Captain William "Bill" Milloy, opened its doors to the public, establishing the beloved inn we know today.

After a major reconstruction following a fire in 1991, the Oban Inn has continued to evolve, thriving as a luxury boutique hotel, spa, and restaurant in beautiful Niagara-on-the-Lake, Ontario. Their legacy of hospitality and excellence continues to shine through generations. 🏡✨

This week’s spotlight goes to Commisso's Fresh Foods— a true Niagara success story!

Founded in 1962 by Mike Commisso in Beamsville, Ontario, Commisso’s quickly expanded into a trusted supermarket chain with 16 locations across the Niagara and Hamilton regions. In 2004, the brand transitioned when Sobeys acquired the stores, converting them into Sobeys and Price Chopper locations.

The Commisso family’s passion for fresh food and community service continued in 2010 with the opening of Commisso’s Fresh Foods in Niagara Falls, where they proudly carry on their tradition today. 🛒🍎
