We all know the days…

Alarm goes off way too early, frost on the truck, coffee doing its best to wake you up. Boots still wet from yesterday, back already hurting, and the sun’s not even up yet.

You wait on the first truck… it’s late like always. Then it shows up and suddenly it’s your fault you’re behind.. So you do what everyone does… pass it down to the next guy.

New guy eats it in the mud before 9am, by lunch he’s talking about “this ain’t for me.” Yeah… we knew that already.

Cold days or blistering hot heat, we do it all. No breaks when it matters, no quitting once it starts... but at the end of the day you get to point and say “we built that.” and you’ll remind everyone every time you drive by it too.

Not everyone’s built for this kind of work, but the ones who stick with it earn every dollar and every bit of respect that comes with it. Long after we’re gone, the work’s still standing.
