Thinking About Selling Your Childcare Centre?

You may have more options than you realize.

I work with one of the largest pools of qualified childcare buyers in the Maritimes, including individuals and groups actively looking to acquire established centres throughout New Brunswick, Nova Scotia and Prince Edward Island.

If you’ve been thinking about selling, whether that’s now, next year, or simply sometime down the road, I’d be happy to have a private conversation with you about:

• What your childcare business may be worth
• What buyers are currently looking for
• How a confidential sale process works
• What you can do now to prepare for an eventual sale

No listing. No commitment. No pressure.

Just a confidential conversation about your business and your options.

Thinking about selling? Let’s talk privately.

LOOKING TO CONNECT WITH BUSINESS OWNERS ACROSS ATLANTIC CANADA

I’m currently working with a well-established Atlantic Canadian group that is actively looking to grow through acquisition in New Brunswick, Nova Scotia and Prince Edward Island.

We’re interested in connecting with business owners in the following industries:

• Property Management
• Vacation Rental Management
• Insulation
• Plumbing
• Electrical
• Pest Control
• Cleaning Services

This doesn’t have to mean your business is currently listed for sale. We’re also interested in speaking with owners who may be considering an exit within the next 1–2 years and would like to start a confidential conversation.

If you own a business in one of these sectors or know someone who does feel free to send me a private message.

All conversations are completely confidential.

Being a nice person and being a good boss aren’t always the same thing.

One of the most common issues I see in small businesses is owners avoiding difficult decisions because they genuinely care about their employees and want to keep everyone happy.

But that can come at a cost.

One question buyers regularly ask me is: “Is there anyone currently employed who needs to be removed?”

More often than you’d think, the owner already knows the answer.

Poor performance that goes unaddressed affects morale, productivity and ultimately the value of the business. Your good employees see it too.

You can be kind, fair and compassionate while still holding people accountable.

Sometimes being a good boss means having the hard conversation, saying no, or letting someone go.

Be a good person. But don’t let the need to be liked stop you from leading your business.

Thinking about selling your business?

For most business owners, selling their business is one of the largest financial decisions they’ll ever make. Yet many go into the process without a plan.

The difference between an average sale and an exceptional one often comes down to preparation.

At Ironwood Business Brokers, we help business owners:
✔️ Determine the true market value of their business.
✔️ Position the business to attract qualified buyers.
✔️ Maintain strict confidentiality throughout the process.
✔️ Negotiate the best possible terms—not just the highest price.
✔️ Manage the transaction from valuation to closing.

Whether you’re looking to sell this year or simply want to understand what your business is worth, the conversation starts with a confidential consultation.

You don’t have to be ready to sell to start planning.

Most business sales don’t fall apart because there isn’t a buyer.

They fall apart because the deal isn’t financeable.

One of the biggest misconceptions in buying or selling a business is believing that an agreed-upon purchase price is all that matters. In reality, lenders focus on whether the business can generate enough cash flow to service the debt. If the numbers don’t work, financing becomes difficult—regardless of how motivated the buyer and seller may be.

That’s why proper pricing, accurate financial analysis, and thoughtful deal structuring are critical from the very beginning.

Whether it’s adjusting the purchase price, incorporating vendor financing, separating real estate from the operating business, or exploring alternative financing structures, every successful transaction requires a strategy that works for all parties—including the lender.

My role isn’t just to find buyers. It’s to structure transactions that have the highest probability of closing while protecting my clients’ interests every step of the way.

If you’re thinking about selling your business or simply want to understand what it’s worth in today’s market, I’d be happy to have a confidential conversation.

Most business sales don’t fall apart because of price…
they fall apart because the information isn’t ready when buyers ask for it.

That’s why I ask a lot of questions upfront. 📊

It might feel like homework at the start…
but it keeps your deal moving, builds buyer confidence, and gets you to closing faster. 🚀

Preparation isn’t extra… it’s everything.

Thinking about selling your business? Let’s have a conversation. 🤝

Why “For Sale” signs don’t belong on businesses. 🚫
When you sell a house, you put a sign in the yard. When you sell a business, you do the opposite. Publicly announcing a sale can lead to lost revenue and staff turnover.
I work behind the scenes to:
1. Vet every potential buyer.
2. Protect your sensitive data.
3. Market your business’s value without naming names.
I market businesses quietly so you can exit loudly. DM me “EXIT” to learn more about my process.

When you buy a business, you’re paying for goodwill.

Not just equipment.
Not just inventory.
Not just working capital.

You’re paying for what actually makes the business work:
Cash flow, customers, systems, and reputation.

That’s the difference between starting from scratch…
and stepping into something proven.
