“Can my spouse still get PR with these concerns?” 🇨🇦
That was the question our client brought to us when they first approached us for inland spousal sponsorship.
The applicant needed ongoing, expensive medical treatment. There was also a previous police case disclosed in the Police Clearance Certificate (PCC). Understandably, the couple was worried about how these circumstances could affect their application.
We reviewed their circumstances, explained the challenges, and helped them move forward with full disclosure and supporting documents. They placed their trust in us, and the journey began.
It wasn’t a quick one.
Two medical requests. Another PCC request, even though one had already been submitted. Multiple follow-ups and ATIP requests to understand where the application stood.
As the months passed, our client became frustrated and anxious. We understood—waiting for a decision that affects your family’s future is hard.
Finally, after 23 months and 7 days… COPR was issued! 🎉❤️
