The revolution is circular. 🌀 As an Arc'teryx ambassador of 11 years (OMG!), I spend the majority of my life in environments that demand everything from my gear, and in return give me everything that fills my cup: work, adventure, creativity, a sense of accomplishment, humble pies, lifelong memories, and friendships. I’m passionate about sharing and caring for these wild places that play such a huge part in my life - which is why if we want these mountains to stay wild for the next generation, how we build, use, and retire gear has to evolve. That’s why Arc'teryx’s System 0 matters so much to me :). It is a full commitment to product lifecycles; no more start and end, just continued circularity.
Leading us into the future? Meet the new Sperro SV. It’s the first Arc’teryx jacket certified under TESTEX® Circularity - pairing GORE-TEX PRO ePE weather protection for alpine pursuits with recycled nylon built for easy field repairs, and designed so that once it’s finally run its course, the nylon is recycled into new yarn 🤯.
Over the last few weeks, I’ve tested the Sperro SV in summer alpine environments, rainy fall slogs, and a few micro creative adventures in between. It’s been fun to learn and live the journey it’s designed for - and as a multi-sport jacket, you better believe I’ll be continuing to wear this all winter long. New uniform reporting for duty 🫡.
