“Crow Kinship Consulting provided insights that far exceeded our expectations, urging us to think creatively about evaluation, policy, funding and, notably, the intersections of identity. Their expertise challenged us to consider unconventional approaches, fostering a culture of emergent planning and strategizing. We are so grateful for their contributions and highly recommend their services.” – Mokami Status of Women Council, Happy Valley-Goose Bay, NL.

🌿About the workshop

In this one-off, introductory and experiential workshop, participants will learn about the fundamentals of somatics (working with the body) and how to integrate somatic tools into their own day to day lives. This workshop is for people from all walks of life who are interested in learning about the way that trauma impacts both body and mind, and how exploring our felt senses can help us reconnect with ourselves, each other, and the present moment.

We will introduce some simple, body-based practices to support connection, attunement, and grounding. We will also support participants to expand on these principles creatively in ways that are responsive to their own day to day needs and routines. No previous somatic training or knowledge is required to participate.

Please note that our focus in this space is learning and practice. We will not have the resources to support traumatic processing or story sharing. All participants are very welcome to ask questions, take breaks, and modify as necessary.

Standard, rigid models of support don’t always have space for the full complexity of who we are.

I know this because my own journey hasn’t been a straight line. From my work in the community sector since 2001 to my own reclamation of gender, sexuality, and culture—I’ve learned that growth happens best when we stop trying to fit into boxes that were never built for us.

I’m Cole (they/them), and I’m so excited to share that I’m now offering 1:1 Life Coaching through Crow Kinship Consulting.

I work with people like me: the diverse, the fluid, and the open-minded. Whether you’re navigating identity, moving through recovery, or seeking a deeper connection to your true self, I’m here to support you in your process. My approach is trauma-informed and focuses on identifying the unique strengths you already carry—the ones that often get overlooked by standardized ways of doing things.

Let’s see if we’re a good match: The connection between us is the most important part of coaching. I offer a free initial virtual call so we can chat, share space, and see if my style feels like a good fit for what you're looking for.

I also believe support should be accessible, which is why I work on a sliding scale.
