Introducing: Eau de Woodlot

For years, customers have asked if we could bottle up the unmistakable scent of the woodlot. We’re so proud to say we have finally developed this in association with a local perfumer.

Eau de Woodlot is a bold, slow-burning fragrance crafted for those who appreciate the finer things in life: fresh split firewood, smoky coals, and standing just a little too close to the fire.

This signature scent opens with the crisp confidence of freshly split wood, settles into a warm smoky heart, and finishes with a rich, grounded burn that lingers from first match to last spark.

Refined enough for date night. Authentic enough for the woodlot.

Warning: may cause sudden cravings for plaid, campfires, and unsolicited opinions on proper firewood stacking techniques.

Available for one day only (April 1 😉).

Nearly a decade in the forestry industry has taught us one thing: reliable gear matters. When equipment is a part of your livelihood it has to perform in real conditions, season after season.

Over the years, our Hakki Pilke processors paired with Oregon Products bars and chains have proven themselves in our workflow, helping us stay efficient and productive.

We’ve tested, learned and refined since starting this business in 2016. What remains are the tools that earn their place by showing up and doing the job right.

In addition to these tools, the skill of the harvesters and log truck drivers we work with play a critical role in this operation. Their experience, care, and consistency ensure that quality wood makes it from the forests of central Newfoundland to our woodlot, safely and responsibly.

As we have for the previous 9 years, we’re embracing the spirit of giving this holiday season. At Firewood Factory NL, we believe that everyone deserves warmth and comfort - especially during the holiday season.

Each December we donate pickup loads of junked & split firewood to seniors on a fixed income, single parents, and families of individuals receiving medical treatment, among others. Additionally, we match any donations received from you (dollar for dollar) so we can provide to more families. This has allowed us to donate firewood to nearly 80 families since 2016 🔥

Firewood Factory is officially shopping for a new home base! 👀 🪵

We’re on the hunt for 2-3 acres of land where we can set up an organized and efficient yard for firewood processing and pickups.

We’d love:
- good visibility from the road,
- easy access to the Outer Ring,
- close to St. John’s,
- bonus: electrical hook-up already in place!

Our NL mulch is back in stock! It’s produced right here on the island (we love that 🙌) and is dye/additive free.

We can load it into your truck or trailer at our woodlot — most pick up trucks can handle 1.5-2 cubic yards — or we can deliver 4+ cubic yards volumes. One cubic yard covers approx 80 square feet at a depth of 4”.

Our spring hours are Monday to Saturday 8:30am-5pm 🌞🌱🌷

Starting this summer, you can pitch a tent right in the heart of our firewood yard and experience the rustic charm of camping next to freshly cut logs and the soothing hum of the firewood processor.

Amenities include:
🔥 Complimentary bed of soft wood chips for a truly rustic sleep experience
🪵 Unlimited firewood
🚜 Early morning wake-up calls courtesy of the firewood processor
