MGM Architectural Aluminum & Glass Named Licensed Fabricator of Alumicor

MGM Architectural Aluminum & Glass (“MGM”) is pleased to announce its collaboration with Alumicor as a licensed fabricator of Alumicor systems across Canada. This relationship enables MGM to fabricate and supply Alumicor systems in accordance with Alumicor’s designs, specifications, and quality standards, supporting architects, developers, and general contractors on a wide range of projects. “Alumicor is pleased to expand its relationship with MGM by having them as a licensed fabricator of Alumicor products. The agreement supports increased fabrication capacity and provides customers with additional access to Alumicor's architectural aluminum systems while maintaining the company's established engineering, design, and quality standards," states Slavko Sehovac, Alumicors’s General Manager.
By leveraging Alumicor’s engineering expertise together with MGM’s manufacturing facility in Stewiacke, Nova Scotia, MGM supports the delivery of high-performance building solutions with enhanced fabrication efficiency, consistency, and quality.
The Advantage of Alumicor Systems Fabricated by MGM:
• Pre-Engineered System Fabrication: MGM fabricates pre-engineered Alumicor systems including the 950SG Series designed to streamline installation and reduce field coordination. Where applicable, assemblies may be prepared with integrated components consistent with project specifications and approved configurations.
• High-Performance Glazing Integration: MGM fabricates, supplies, and installs insulating glass units as part of its fabrication, consistent with project specifications and performance requirements.
• Improved Installation Efficiency: Factory fabrication can reduce on-site installation time and minimize reliance on field intensive glazing and secondary trades depending on project conditions.
• Enhanced Project Coordination: By performing key fabrication steps in our controlled manufacturing environment, MGM helps reduce exposure to weather related delays and site-level congestion.
• Progress Toward Occupancy: Efficiencies in fabrication and installation can support earlier building enclosure and improved schedule coordination, helping projects progress toward occupancy using streamlined delivery approaches.
