When harvest work has really worn you out…

While Denali is resting, the crew is hard at work pressing the grapes and swinging fully into production mode.

Our retail and tasting room remains open 7 days a week so stop in, share a belly rub, and cheers to the 2026 harvest with us!

Last night was a big one!

The team had front row seats to the T&C Chamber of Commerce Business Awards. Horse Thief vineyards was honoured and humbled to win BEST NEW BUSINESS 🎉🥂🏆

After 6 years of planting, loss, small wins, lessons, errors, laughter and renewing our commitment to thinking big and remaining optimistic at every turn, this award was a small step towards a brighter future for the team.

Four generations have made this possible and it meant the world to have 3 of them in the room to celebrate.

Our success would not be possible without the unending support, cheers and help of our community in Truro Colchester and we will never take a step forward without gratitude for how you’ve shown up for us every day.

Thank you!

Harvest Day round 2!!!!

Crews are hard at work in the vineyard today picking the entire crop of l’acadie to make a fresh batch of First Tides 🥂

10/14/2026

As we prepare to pick our last few blocks of the vineyard for the season we are asking for experienced volunteers to help us this Friday, October 16th.

Lunch will be provided

If you are interested in joining us on the vineyard this Friday, please email us at [email protected] to confirm details and have some fun as we pick and press for the final time this season 🍇

Our first harvest day of the season took place this Monday with a committed crew of helpers!

Please be advised that our second pick will take place this Friday so the vineyards will be closed to visitors as traffic and equipment picks up on site to get these grapes crushed! 🍇

Our retail will remain open from Monday - Friday 10- 4 and Saturday - Sunday 12-4 as usual. Stop by and cheer on our pickers as they work to secure the 2026 harvest

Our next event is now live! 🎄

Holiday Wreath Workshop at Horse Thief Vineyards
Sunday, November 29 · 1:00 PM
With Webber Ranch Wreaths

Gather on the vineyard lawn for an afternoon of winter making, fresh air and a little holiday magic.

Led by Carrie + Natasha of Webber Ranch Wreaths, this hands-on workshop will show you how to create a beautiful, sustainable holiday wreath using locally sourced materials and the natural gifts of the season. Learn traditional wreath-making methods, work with seasonal greenery and natural elements, and create something uniquely your own to take home and enjoy throughout the holidays.

We’ll be making them outside on the vineyard lawn, so dress warmly and come prepared for the weather; winter in the vineyard is part of the experience.

Your ticket includes the wreath-making workshop, all materials, warm seasonal drinks, w**e samples, holiday cookies, and, of course, plenty of Denali the Bernese Mountain Dog love as our favourite vineyard guardian makes an appearance.

Come make something beautiful, sip something delicious, and spend an afternoon among the vines as we welcome the holiday season at Horse Thief Vineyards.

We can’t wait to gather among the vines and make a little holiday magic with you 🥂
