This week I had the pleasure of consulting on a truly beautiful country property loaded with potential 🤍From the moment I walked in, all I could do is visualize it with my dream VISION!
Currently they host guests and events, and their hope was to see how could it be enhanced within a budget. So here are some concept images we showed them that would help give a more cohesive, spa like retreat that feels calm, warm and welcoming from the moment you arrive.
The best part? This transformation isn’t about starting over. We would be keeping what works (the layout, the tiles, even the floors for how, the headboards, the beautiful stone) and elevating everything around it with paint, lighting, drapery and a few thoughtfully chosen pieces. But the biggest bang for buck is the exterior! Keeping their siding but must be painted and ideally change roof, soffits, windows to black!
Small to medium changes. Huge impact.
Swipe to see the before and the concept after for each space. Which transformation is your favourite? 👇

Lighting is one of the most powerful elements in design. It is not just functional, it is transformative.

Exquisite lighting acts like jewelry in a room. It draws the eye, creates a focal point, and elevates the entire space. Every curve, finish, and placement matters. The right lighting sets the tone, enhances textures, and adds a sense of sparkle and elegance that nothing else can replicate.

When thoughtfully chosen, lighting brings warmth, balance, and personality. It highlights architectural details, softens moments, and gives a space its soul. A room can be beautifully designed, but without the right lighting, it will never truly shine.

Lighting helps design come to life.

Florals are never an afterthought in our designs. They are a finishing layer that brings a space to life.

The key is realism. We love working with high end customized florals that look natural, effortless, and beautifully organic. Sculptural orchids, soft branches like p***y willows, or subtle greenery styled near a stove, as a centerpiece, or on a hallway table. Each element has a rightful place.

Knowing what to use, where to place it, and how to scale it is everything. When florals are used thoughtfully, they elevate a space, soften architectural lines, and add warmth and quiet sophistication.

When done right, florals complete the story of a home.

A guest bedroom doesn’t need to be oversized to feel luxurious.
It needs to feel intentional.

Designed with function and comfort at the forefront, this space features custom built-in storage that maximizes every inch while maintaining a clean, airy feel. Soft grey hues flow through the rug, artwork, and layered bedding, balanced beautifully with warm sand tones and calming whites.

The layered bedding creates a cloud like experience. Cozy, plush, and inviting while the earthy palette wraps the room in warmth and serenity. The result is a guest room that feels effortless, welcoming, and thoughtfully composed.

A soft retreat your guests will genuinely enjoy.

One of those moments when one foot in gratitude the other in disbelief in realizing how limitless we are… when you witness yourself crossing that finish line and surpassing all expectations including your own and realize you are more resilient then you think… more powerful then you feel and capable of more then you can even imagine… and just when you think you have no control… God steps in to pull you through… thankful for this beautiful life we get to experience and learn.. and push ourselves… fall to the ground and experience the lowest of lows but also get to feel and witness the highest of highs!! May we remind ourselves of the things we often forget.. when in doubt … as it is only fear talking for when we detach from it and feel and tap into the energy of our highest self… it is like magic … freedom, peace, faith and miracles happen….

Adding organic texture is one of the simplest ways to make a space feel warm, layered, and inviting.

Materials like light wood finishes, ceramic accents, honed natural stones, and soft textiles and even warm gold metals can introduce depth without overwhelming a neutral palette. These natural elements can bring subtle contrast, visual interest, and a sense of calm to a room.

Whether it’s through lighting, stones, cabinetry or accessories there are many ways that can help a space feel intentional, comfortable, and timeless.

Small details, thoughtfully chosen, can make go a long way.

Great design starts with a clear vision and that’s why we love doing our design plans as it makes make all the difference.

For this project, we created moodboards for two bedrooms and a family room, layering organic textures like grasscloth wallpaper, natural wood accents, and light wood furnishings, all softened with velours linens in bedding and upholstery for warmth and comfort.

Moodboards help clients see the big picture, stay aligned on the design direction, and keep budgeting and logistics on track from the very beginning. They remove guesswork and bring confidence to every decision.
