NOW HIRING: Can-Traffic Services is looking to add a driver/operator to our growing team at our Sherwood Park Location.

Responsibilities:
Turning in traffic
Pulling trailers, augers
Skid steer and excavator experience required
Comfortable driving big trucks

The position is not all driving, other duties include:
Locating utilities
Unloading materials
Pouring bases
Pulling wire
Standing poles
Digging/physical work 50-60 pounds
Always dealing with traffic
Out of town work
Filling out log books

Skills required:
Class 3 –Air brake ticket
Steel toed boots are a requirement to have.

Required experience:
Driving: 3 years

Required license or certification:
Class 3 Drivers License

Here is some information on the reduction on speed limits in Edmonton.

The speed limit is now 40 km/h on most residential and downtown streets.

The safety of our employees and all those who work with or engage with Can-Traffic will always be our first priority! Slow down and always stay alert to changing driving conditions.

The City of Edmonton and the Edmonton Police Service (EPS) are working together to provide education and enforce speed limits in an effort to make Edmonton’s streets safer for everyone.

Can-Traffic services Ltd. requires an operator/labourer with a class 3 licence with air-brake endorsement. We install and maintain street light and traffic control devices throughout Alberta. Out of town work will be required, (a maximum of 10 out and 4 days back).

This crew requires a worker who will grow and learn all that we do and has a path for advancement. If this sounds like a great fit for you, we encourage you to apply to become a part of our team!

Operating mini-Excavator.

Job Description

· Reviews and analyzes inventory.

· Ensuring inventory is accounted for and managed.

· Practicing set inventory and operational procedures.

· Coming up with process improvements that are beneficial to the company.

· Maintaining an organized work area.

· Preparing materials for crews for upcoming jobs.

· Organizing the return of products under warranty.

· Shipping & receiving.

· Reconciling any discrepancies in inventory data.

· Placing product orders for consumable items.

· Working and collaborating with the Inventory Manager to report stock issues.

Qualifications

Forklift experience required.
Able to set and achieve goals.
The ability to work and solve problems independently.
Excellent attention to detail, with a high level of accountability.
Maintain a professional working relationship with co-workers.
Must be reliable, trustworthy and have a positive attitude!
Must be authorized to work in Canada.
Clean Criminal record.
Proficiency in Microsoft Office and other software used throughout the company an asset.
General warehousing experience.
Valid Class 5 driver’s license.
