We're turning the front of our office into a community rock garden, and we need your help!

We've purchased 50 perfectly imperfect rocks from our friends at Firefield Landscape Supply that are free for anyone to use. Whether you're a kid, parent, grandparent, artist, or just looking for something fun to do over the long weekend, we'd love for you to:

🪨 Pick up a rock from our office
🎨 Paint it however you'd like
🌼 Return it to our community rock garden

Our goal is to fill the garden with colourful, creative rocks painted by people from across Strathroy-Caradoc and make a simple stop on Frank Street bring a smile to someone's day.

MEET MATT:

Matt Laberge is a Financial Advisor and the owner of Choice Wealth Management, where he helps individuals, families, and business owners build confidence in their financial future. While he's passionate about investing and financial planning, Matt is equally passionate about giving back to the community he calls home.

A lifelong Strathroy resident, Matt has become known for turning ideas into action. He is the Director of the Strathroy Jets hockey club, helping grow one of the community's premier sports organizations while raising tens of thousands of dollars for local charities and families through hockey. He also serves on the organizing committee for Strathroy's Almost Canada Day celebration, one of the region's largest community events, which raises funds for local school breakfast programs and brings thousands of residents together each year.

Matt's entrepreneurial journey began long before wealth management. He co-founded Clap Balm, the world's first hockey hand deodorant, a product that gained national attention, was used by professional hockey players, and earned recognition for innovation and entrepreneurship.

Whether he's helping clients achieve financial freedom, leading community initiatives, or building local organizations, Matt believes success is measured by the positive impact you leave on others.

About Ben:
Growing up in Strathroy, I've always appreciated being part of a close-knit community, so it's exciting to help individuals and families in my community build confidence in their financial future.

One of the reasons that I chose a career in Wealth Management is that I realized that one thing was true for almost everyone I spoke with - finance can feel overwhelming. I wanted to fix this problem, and decided I would pursue an education & career focused on making conversations around money a little less intimidating. I studied Financial Planning at Fanshawe College, and then earned a degree in Economics from Western University. I enjoy breaking down complex topics, and my goal is to simplify these concepts without jargon. I want my clients to feel informed and confident every step of the way so they can focus on what matters most to them.

I work with clients in every phase of life. Whether you're just beginning your financial journey or planning for the next stage of life, I believe the best financial plans start with understanding your goals and building a relationship based on trust.

Outside the office, I enjoy staying active through sports, exploring the world through scuba diving, and spending time with family and friends. I love to try new things, and strive to never stop learning so I can provide the knowledge, guidance, and support my clients deserve.

$5,863 RAISED FOR COMMUNITY OVER CANCER!

We are extremely excited to share that we smashed last year's fundraiser of $1,100. Our biggest thank you to everyone who supported our Community Over Cancer game last Friday. This could not have been achieved without all of your support. We're looking forward to raising more for local charities in the future. Thank you Strathroy! 🙏

HOCKEY FIGHTS CANCER NIGHT - DECEMBER 9TH

In partnership with Damen Optimal Health, we are proud to present our 2nd Hockey Fights Cancer Night. On December 9th, all proceeds from our game and silent auction will be donated to the Community over Cancer initiative that has already helped so many families in Strathroy. We're asking you to fight cancer with us and beat last year's donation of $1,100!

Game worn jerseys will be auctioned off after the game. Bidding for these one-of-a-kind jerseys will start at $50 and proceeds will go to the Community over Cancer charity. Your winning bid will let you take home a piece of Jets history while donating to a cause that hits close to home for every single one of us. Bidding will end at the end of the night and winners will be notified throughout next week.
