Our doors are opening again, and we can’t wait to welcome you back to Solvero.

Visit Us This September.

We’ll be open daily throughout the month from 11am–4pm.

Reservations are recommended, but walk-ins are welcome. And, as always, tastings are complimentary for Solvero Club members.

The landscape around Garnet Valley may look a little different, but there is so much resilience and beauty to be found. The vineyards remain beautifully green, new growth is already beginning to emerge on the forest floor, and our patio and tasting room continue to offer that sense of peace and serenity that makes a visit to Solvero so special.

We will have light bites available to order by donation, with proceeds going toward the BC Wildfire Recovery Fund. We hope this gives our guests an opportunity to enjoy a little something alongside their w**e while also supporting communities affected by the wildfires.

In the days following the wildfire, an incredible group of community members came together with the critical work of keeping our team, our vineyards, w**e and w**ery safe. From finding accommodation for displaced family and team members, to getting a generator up and running, repairing irrigation and getting water back to the vines, all while keeping our bottling operations on schedule, people simply showed up.

We will never forget that.

Everyone is safe. The vineyard survived, the w**e was protected and we are moving forward together ❤️

We are incredibly grateful to share this morning that the w**ery is okay 🙏

At this time, all structures appear to be untouched and much green vineyard acreage is visible. We are feeling an immense sense of gratitude and relief. We are especially thankful for the firefighters and first responders who have worked tirelessly to protect our community and our homes.

We know that not everyone has been so fortunate, and our hearts are with everyone who has experienced loss or been impacted by the fires. We are holding our community close and sending love and strength to those on the front lines.

Thank you to everyone who has reached out and kept us in your thoughts. It means more than you know.

Due to the ongoing wildfire situation impacting Summerland and nearby communities, we have temporarily closed the w**ery and evacuated the property. Our team has safely left the area and everyone is accounted for.

This is an emotional and uncertain time for so many throughout the region. Our thoughts are with everyone in the community who had been impacted.

We are grateful to the firefighters, emergency crews and all those working tirelessly to protect our community. Thank-you for your dedication and courage during this difficult time.

The w**ery will remain closed while evacuation orders are in place, and we will provide updates as circumstances change.

Summerland is a resilient community and we know we will get through this together. Please stay safe and take care of one another ❤️

Last month, w**e critic James Suckling and his team made their first visit to the Okanagan Valley. We were lucky enough to be one of two Summerland w**eries to have our w**es included in tastings during his time in the valley.

As we continue to press off our 2025 Pinot Noir, barrel work becomes a big part of these busy days. Brand new French Oak gets hydrated overnight before filling for the first time and nothing quite compares to the intensity of aromas during that first fill!

Neutral and previously used barrels get carefully steam sanitized before getting filled once again.

The barrels used are carefully selected to suit the profile of each different Pinot clone and will be the home of our Pinot Noir for the next 14 months, before deciding on the final blend. We’re excited to follow the evolution of this w**e as the tannins soften and flavours integrate. This has been such a special vintage and there is so much potential here!

Meet Assistant W**emaker Teresa Ortiz-Fuentealba. Since 2023, she’s played a key role ensuring our high standards for w**e quality, among many other things. We’re lucky to have her as part of the Solvero team!

Born and raised in Chile, Tere initially followed the path of Graphic Design. After working several years in the field of Marketing and Communications she developed an interest in the W**e world, deciding to finally shift her career in 2015. When in New Zealand, she got an opportunity to work as Assistant Vineyard Manager in the Wairau Valley, where she acquired the foundational skills and knowledge for the role.

After gathering more experience in other iconic w**e regions like Oregon and Chile, along with workshops and training programs in the w**emaking field, she finally arrived in the Okanagan in 2017. Here she has found a home where her global journey comes full circle. Surrounded by the breathtaking landscapes of British Columbia, she continues her exploration of w**emaking, embracing the unique challenges and opportunities presented by the Okanagan terroir, adding another layer to her experience.

Tere’s w**emaking journey is marked by adaptability and a deep commitment to the craft. Each stage of her journey reflects not only the regions she’s worked in but also the diverse expressions of w**e that she has helped create.
