Attic insulation has been completed!
We hope, with this investment, we can reduce the electricity used to heat and cool The Weic.

This has been a long road, from the transition from two large oil burning furnaces, to complete electrification of both heat and cooling.
Now, the addition of blown in insulation into the attic coupled with the increased insulation in the walls during retrofit from a Heavy Truck Repair Center to a Business/ Retail development, we are decreasing our environmental footprint!

We are upgrading the attic insulation in our building today. Upgrade to R60 will take most of the day.

Great to have the City agencies communicate with residents and business through this fire.
The Police and Fire Services have been doing great work to help keep us all safe!

⚠️ ADVANCE NOTICE - POTENTIAL MANDATORY SHELTER IN PLACE

🟡 Based on the current forecast and anticipated conditions for tomorrow morning, residents within the area identified on the accompanying map are asked to be prepared for the possibility of a mandatory Shelter in Place order tomorrow morning.

An update will be provided at approx. 6:30 AM confirming whether additional measures are required.

Residents immediately outside the identified area who also may experience a change in air quality are also encouraged to shelter in place where possible as a precaution.
