🎣 Fishing and business go hand in hand!

Yesterday, my son got a new fishing rod, but it was a bit of a comedy of errors! 😅 First, the line and rod broke, and he lost his precious luer and flasher. 🙈 But we didn't give up! We went shopping, got him a new rod and some fresh tackle, and back on the water we went. 🛍️🌊

At first, things were slow, and patience was key. But when a fish finally grabbed the line, he got too excited and lost it again! But we didn't let frustration sink in. I encouraged him to try again, and this time, he took his time and reeled the fish in successfully! 🙌

It made me realize that fishing is a lot like running a business:

1️⃣ What works for one person doesn't guarantee success for another.
2️⃣ If you don't succeed at first, try again or explore new approaches.
3️⃣ You may not always get the results you want, but each experience is a chance to learn and grow.

So, here's my offer to all farmers out there: Let me empower you with process improvement and efficiency skills, so you can keep your farm running smoothly like a well-reeled catch! 🐠👩‍🌾 Together, we'll make sure you're equipped for success in the agricultural waters! 🌾💪

I’m Natalie,

Organizing is my life, I really mean it.

I’m a business owner and mom of 5 (yes, you read that right!) so I know firsthand that a little organization makes a huge difference.

I spend my “spare” time going on bike rides with my family, baking something delicious (usually) and in our yard, mostly making a mess! I enjoy any renovation project and love to stop to smell the roses - no really, they’re my favorite!

When I’m not with my family, I spend my days showing Farmers how to streamline tasks, automate processes and save time doing administrative work—allowing to them to get out of the office and back in the fields, in the barn or planting crops.

I understand how life can be busy, but I know once we work together, your office and business will be running with a lot less stress and WAY more efficient!

Eighteen years ago, you were born and made it one incredible rollercoaster ride. It feels like just yesterday when you were a tiny bundle of joy, and now you're all grown up, ready to take on the world. Time flies when you're having fun, and you, have been an absolute blast!

You're intelligent, witty, and have a heart of gold. Your sense of humor could rival the best stand-up comedians, and your charisma could make even the grumpiest person crack a smile.

Your infectious laughter has brought so much joy and for that, I am eternally grateful.

I’ll be here to guide you, cheer you on, and provide you with endless amounts of ice cream when life gets tough. Embrace your passions, chase after your dreams, and never lose that sparkle in your eyes. Life may throw curveballs at you, but I have no doubt that you'll knock them out of the park. How much time are you spending on admin tasks?

New kind of list:

As business owners we get caught up on what we need to do and when we’re going to do it. I get it, I encourage it. We have our list to help us get it “all” done.

But I’ve been thinking, there’s another kind of list we should also be doing. Now before you roll your eyes at me, hear me out.

Let’s get some traction on a new kind of list, a list full of the things I’m going to accomplish to RELAX, places I want to go and adventures I want to experience.

1. take a bath
2. Go for a walk
3. Read a book
4. Go shopping (alone)
5. Go to Greece
6. Zip line

I messed up…

Yup. I did exactly what I teach others NOT to do.

And I paid the price.

With starting my new job, our house arbitration and family life, I neglected to get my bookkeeping done or even keep it up-to-date. And I knew that I had to do it because it has been in the back of my mind. I didn’t realize how bad it was until I had to send my information to my Accountant and realized I had a lot to catch up on before I could even send it out.

So guess what I did all weekend? After eight hours of solid work I’m still not done.

So my lesson here today is obviously to book time monthly to keep up to date with my bookkeeping, but also give myself grace. I’ve had a lot going on and I’m doing my best.
