I don’t always get a chance to post all of my sessions. Case in point: exactly one year ago today I had the privilege of photographing my beautiful friend of 22 years (!!!) & her lovely family who I have watched grow over the years. I had a blast walking through the park and capturing photos of them just being themselves - what a delight to be able to freeze these moments in time for them.

Well, it's been a hot minute, but something this exciting deserves to be shouted from the rooftops:

07.04.2021 || Finally, after so many months away from our church family, we got to get all gussied up and do church restriction free & *with* *other* *people*. ✨ What a gift. Their excitement was tangible, even in the tenth of a second captured by these photos. You can imagine what it was like in real life. 😜 I smiled so much and so hard, my face hurt. 💖

This is what 2 months looks like - you are SO smiley & sweet, little man! Always patient as your older siblings buzz around full of noise and cuddles that at times can be a bit much 😆. You coo and giggle with the best of them and are a delight to interact with. Not to mention, you sleep like a champ! We love you & are so thankful for you, little guy! 💖

As if it wasn't exciting enough when daddy comes home, yesterday he made it that much more exciting by bringing this little beauty along with him (the longboard, that is - the beautiful girls were already here ;) )

I've always been a beach lover, but the beach at St. George Island has a special place in my heart - it's where we went for our honeymoon, where we continue to gather with our ever growing family, it's where we've made so many wonderful memories! What a blessing having a space to stay there has been. With this pandemic going on I've been craving a trip there, but since borders are closed, reminiscing through old photos I've taken there is the closest I can get. I love getting to document our family / extended family there (we've got a couple more babies to add since these were taken!) & often joke around about moving and setting up shop there, because HELLO stunning background (+ that island life may sweeten the pot a bit, too ;) )!
