Please NOTE: Our BPA Free 18L bottles are made from PET Plastic so there is no need for BPA free substitute. I am assuming what the artice is suggesting that there are plastic bottles made from Polycabonated plastic where the starting material is BPA, instead they are using BPA-S etc as starting material, and therefore can claim its BPA free

Consumers assume plastic bottles and containers labelled "BPA free" are safer, or better, because they do not contain the harmful chemical bisphenol A (BPA). But growing evidence shows that may not be the case.
