Can I share something that hit me pretty hard this week?
I came across this quote —
“The most valuable math you can learn is how to calculate the future cost of your current decisions.”
And I just… sat with it for a while.
I kept saying yes to long work hours without calculating what it was costing my kids.
I kept putting my finances on the back burner without seeing what that stress was doing to my health.
I kept pushing off rest… until my body forced me to stop.
Every “I’ll deal with it later” had a price.
I just wasn’t adding it up. 😔
But here’s what I know now —
Our decisions today don’t just shape OUR future.
They shape our KIDS’ future too.
The time they see us present or distracted.
The stress they feel in the house or the peace they grow up in.
The example we set for what a woman’s life can look like.
So I want to ask you something, mama. 👇
If your future self — one year, five years from now — could send you a message today…
What would she say to you?
What would she thank you for deciding RIGHT NOW?
