Some visitors leave a lasting impression.
Recently, we had the pleasure of welcoming Johnnie to our manufacturing facility. If you’re part of the elevator community, you may already know him from his YouTube channel (Johnnie Elevators), where he documents elevators, lifts, and accessibility equipment across British Columbia and beyond.
What makes Johnnie particularly unique is the depth of his knowledge and passion for the industry. At the age of 7, he can identify elevator models, manufacturers, and technical details that many adults would miss. His enthusiasm has even been recognized beyond the elevator community, with a feature in Elevator World and an interview on CTV News highlighting his remarkable interest in elevators at such a young age.
And the passion doesn’t stop there. Johnnie has built an impressive collection of elevator memorabilia at home, with his room filled with signs, manuals, buttons, and other elevator-related treasures collected over the years.
During his visit, he was eager to learn more about how accessibility solutions are designed and manufactured, asking thoughtful questions and taking a close interest in every step of the process.
