Congratulations and thank you to the students and instructors who helped launch this exciting new program last week!

Developed by the Tulo Centre of Indigenous Economics and the First Nations Land Management Resource Centre, alongside Thompson Rivers University, the Applied Lands Program was thoughtfully designed to give students practical knowledge, hands-on experience, and a strong foundation in First Nations land governance through the Framework Agreement on First Nation Land Management.

Through eight one-week intensive courses, students will build the skills, knowledge and confidence needed to support Framework Agreement-focused self-governance and help turn their communities’ visions for their lands into action.

Thank you to everyone who brought their knowledge, experience and commitment to the first week. We look forward to seeing the learning, connections and leadership continue to grow throughout the program.
