We’re launching an exciting project to foster the growth of the next generation of Mi'kmaw creators. Funding is available for three young artists to be selected for the program; each will receive a total bursary of $4,500 divided into monthly payments during their participation in the program, and will be matched with a mentor for periodic one-on-one training.

Over the course of approximately 6-7 months, the educational journeys of these young artists will also be documented in a short film. Artistic works resulting from this project will also be featured in both virtual and physical exhibits.

If you know a talented & aspiring Mi'kmaw artist living in Unama’ki between the ages of 16 and 28, we'd like to hear about them...

Two paid internships available!

If you’re a recent post-secondary grad and interested in artificial intelligence, machine learning, video games, or virtual reality, we have two paid internship positions available:
1) VR-AR, including game development using Unreal Engine (one position available), or
2) Personalization, Machine Learning, and Artificial Intelligence (one position available)

Base eligibility requirements include:
- Currently eligible and available for work,
- Some educational background (college/community college diploma or university degree),
- A keen interest in the applicable field,
- Since these are trainee positions, no specific work experience is required.
