Hey everyone, so we've been working on a project for a while now. With the loss of a community event that brought much needed donations to the Children's Wish Foundation and also an important part of our local social scene, we have come up with an alternative event that will hopefully work towards filling both voids. After meetings with the CBRPS, the Downtown Sydney development Corporation and others we have come to an agreement of terms to host a car show that will end with participants "Shooting the drag" like we did in the old days. It will be an opportunity to showcase some of these beautiful cars, raise some community spirit and most importantly, money for the Children's Wish Foundation. Music, food and a good time in the heart of downtown. Stay tuned for more information but if you are interested in participating or helping out with the event message the page or email at [email protected]. This is not intended to replace anyone's events and hopefully both can run in the future and raise money for this amazing cause.

This week we wanted to highlight DS Haul & Junk Removal. Owned and operated by a member of our team, Davinder Singh, he and his crew have taken on some huge jobs with amazing results. Whether it's general dump runs, furniture removal, apartment clean ups or clearing up a construction area reach out to DS and get your job done right the first time. A truly hard working guy with tremendous work ethic that puts in the work, it's like he's discovered the secret.

At Sentry Security, continuous learning is a priority. Our team recently completed a two-day Use of Force (UOF) Training program delivered by Law Enforcement Professional Development (LEPD).

A big thank you to instructor Bowman, a certified instructor through the Nova Scotia Department of Justice, Security Programs Office, for the excellent training. We appreciate LEPD for helping our team strengthen our skills, teamwork, and commitment to delivering professional security services.
