Introducing Raising Impact: Storytelling for Nonprofits.

This podcast started as a way to share stories from nonprofit work in Atlantic Canada. Now, it’s growing into something broader.

As Collaborative Cause continues working with nonprofits across Canada, this new brand gives the podcast room to share conversations from a wider range of nonprofit leaders, fundraisers, and people working inside mission-driven organizations.

The focus is still storytelling, but the purpose is clearer: exploring how stories can help nonprofits explain their work, connect with supporters, and show the real people and decisions behind meaningful change.

We’re excited to share this next chapter of the podcast.

A new episode of Raising Impact: Storytelling for Nonprofits is live, and this conversation with Marvin Karon of Shakespearience Performing Arts is full of practical insight.

In this clip, Marvin reminds us that strong nonprofit storytelling is not about leaving history behind. It is about honouring where a story comes from while connecting it to what is happening now, and showing the transformation it makes possible for the people they work with.

From building a bank of testimonials to thinking more intentionally about video, this episode offers useful reminders that storytelling should be an ongoing part of the work.
