Hey everyone 👋

My name is Paul Clarke, and I’ve started a local service called Home & Paws Sylvan Lake . I help with things like home/building checks, pet care, yard clean up, and FireSmart work while people are away (or home).

For a bit of background, I’ve spent 7 years in municipal and wildland firefighting, working in Slave Lake and Colwood, BC, including time as a wildfire helitack crew member in Alberta and multiple wildfire seasons in BC. That experience carries over into keeping an eye on homes, spotting issues early, and helping reduce risk around properties.

I’ve also previously run a residential appliance installation business, so I’m very comfortable working in and around homes and noticing when something isn’t quite right.

I have always been around animals my whole life. I currently have a dog (Oreo) and two cats (Benny & Lily). Growing up I’ve also cared for small animals, chickens, and even worked around horses, so I’m comfortable with a wide range of pets.
