Antler Creek Contracting Ltd is looking for an experienced Forestry Driller / Blaster to join our growing crew working in and around the Terrace, BC area. We are seeking a dependable, safety-focused individual with strong bush experience who can work efficiently in rugged terrain and changing weather conditions.

Position Responsibilities

* Operate drilling and blasting equipment safely and efficiently
* Perform rock drilling and controlled blasting for forestry road construction and related projects
* Handle and transport explosives in accordance with regulations and company procedures
* Conduct pre-trip inspections and basic equipment maintenance
* Work closely with supervisors and crew members to maintain production targets and site safety
* Complete daily safety documentation and field reporting

Qualifications

* Previous forestry drilling and blasting experience preferred
* Valid Blaster Certification required
* Experience operating forestry or heavy equipment considered an asset
* Strong understanding of safe work practices and blasting regulations
* Ability to work long hours in remote outdoor environments
* Valid Class 5 driver’s licence
* First Aid certification considered an asset

This is real road building in tough country — steep ground, coastal weather, and remote sites. We’re looking for guys who know what they’re doing and can handle the conditions.
Requirements
Solid experience building roads in coastal BC
Drilling/blasting experience (for those applying to blasting positions)
Logging road experience is a must
Valid driver’s license
Able to work long days in remote locations
Safety-minded and reliable

Position Requirements:
Minimum 2 years’ experience operating log processors in a logging environment.
Strong knowledge of log quality, sorting, and scaling practices.
Ability to perform routine machine maintenance and keep equipment in good working order.
