Employers!

As soon as your business generates $30K in taxable sales, you must open a GST/HST account. Generally, you will need to register for your business number before you can register for a GST/HST account.

You may register for a business number by using the online service at Business Registration Online. Once you have obtained your business number, you can then continue in the same session to register for a GST/HST account.
