How often do we think of the money making potential in our business over how much of an impact it is going to have on our collective?

A little too much, in my opinion.

While money is essential, a key component in our business's success, it is often considered to be the ONLY component when it is not...

I wholeheartedly believe in conscious capitalism 'cause it is my belief that if we, as brands, focus on generating income to make impact, we do good for our collective.

The exchange in itself is good all around.

Money in exchange for positive impact & then using that same money to invest in better impact.

But this can only happen when we focus on generating positive collective impact from the get go.

Instead of relentlessly pursuing business models that generate income above all else, we must focus on the problems we need to solve for the betterment our collectives via our business offers.

Welfare & profit CAN go hand in hand.

They don't need to be so mutually exclusive as we are constantly told to believe.

Our current state of capitalism is toxic due to this very belief: us vs them, profit vs welfare.

So we exploit... we go for the cheapest options that cost our collectives excruciatingly so we can maximize profits.

Low wages for workers, high selling prices, low quality products/services, on & on we go...

But instead, if we focus on the collective, we do so much better.

When we offer better wages, our humans do better work, have higher purchasing power & our collective thrives as a result.

When we sell high quality goods at accessible prices, the quality of life for the collective increases & we get to profit from that as well.

There are so many case studies that have shown the benefits of higher wages + higher quality of life in societies due to ethical commerce & yet... we fall prey to scarcity mindset (greed) & exploit.

So today, I choose consciousness & ethics, even if it costs me higher in the beginning. This is the ethos is built on & will continue to thrive on βœ¨πŸŒ™

We all, as consumers, want one thing & one thing only: to truly know & feel confident about what we are buying.

This is why as brands, it is imperative to ensure that we are clear in our messaging about the deliverables of our product including both the tangible & intangible.

Nothing is worse than putting in all the effort in messaging & communicating about your offer only for your customer to feel betrayed by the deliverables 'cause the two didn't match up.

Not only would they feel disappointed, they'd villianize your brand & use their influence to keep others from purchasing as well.

Now you not only have to work on the usual messaging but also have to undo the bad rep due to your recent interactions w/ the consumers.

So how do you align your magnetic marketing w/ the deliver?

Start w/ polishing & refining your product/offer first.

Ensure it indeed delivers on the promise & is top notch.

'Cause NO marketing, PR, sales tactics can do their magic if the end product doesn't deliver on the experience.

Here's how you do it πŸ‘‡πŸ½

🌝 Conduct thorough research & test, test, test.

🌝 Offer your product first to beta clients to gain feedback & use it to further refine your offer.

🌝 Pre-launch the offering w/ introductory pricing & use your pilot clients to gain further feedback.

🌝 Make it a point to update the offering regularly either w/ each round of clients if you're service based or quarterly if you're product based.

Once you have a robust system in place that ensures your offering is indeed immaculate, you then focus on your marketing.

ONLY communicate promises you know your offering will deliver.

And remember, clarity over cleverness.

Make the messaging as clear as possible 'cause if you confuse your audience, you lose.

Ensure that your marketing tactics that use psychographics, etc. are using it to serve your ideal client NOT exploit them.

And voila! πŸ§šπŸ½β€β™€οΈ

You now have yourself a wildly successful brand that is not only a magnet for your ideal clients but also overdelivers on its promise so they keep coming back for more πŸŒ™βœ¨
